An investigation into how perceptions of unfairness emerge in competitive mobile games, even when underlying systems remain statistically fair.
Drawing on more than 52,000 player reviews and support conversations, the research identifies recurring patterns behind trust collapse and highlights design challenges related to transparency, randomness, and player experience.

A cross-cultural qualitative study examining whether distrust in game fairness is a culturally specific phenomenon or a broader pattern of player behavior across different gaming communities.
By comparing player discourse across Persian and Anglophone platforms, the research explores how trust, fairness, and randomness are interpreted across linguistic and cultural contexts.
